What a fantastic B&B! I cannot say enough good things and I don't know where to start! My fiance and I stayed for a night in July. Liz was extremely welcoming and kind hearted. I didn't realize at first that she and her family live there too - so it's extra impressive that she maintains both areas in immaculate and welcoming atmosphere full time! We checked into our spacious room with comfy bedding that had its own small patio and private bathroom. It had a tv but no cable (lots of DVDs); however, it didn't even matter as our room faced the ocean and there were tons of things to do besides stay in bed! :) Downstairs was a common area with fire pit, small kitchen with coffee and wine, an outdoor seating area, outdoor hot tub, and lots of space to relax in comfy corners and couches. The entire house had an antique and rustic feel. There were unique decorations and personal touches everywhere - you could tell it was a labor of love! We were able to make a breakfast selection from a number of great options the night before, and eat it on the porch, or in the kitchen, or in the dining area, or in our rooms. I opted for a great sandwhich type breakfast with eggs, cheese, and meats. TO DIE FOR. Coupled with a caramel latte and a cool salty ocean breeze? I didn't want to ever leave! Fantastic location and wonderful family. If I'm in the area again, I'm definitely staying!!

If you want a relaxing weekend or just one night at the Oregon coast, this place was AWESOME! Worth every penny we spent! The room, the food and the friendly hostess made our stay so fabulous we didn't want to leave . Highly recommended - we can't wait to go back!!

We reserved the Salmonberry Inn & Beach House this past weekend for my sister's surprise 30th birthday party. It was a success! The beach house is beautiful, clean, and cozy with lots of nice Frenchy decorating touches. The landscaping outside is lovely, and we spent a good portion of the evening soaking in the hot tub and laughing around the fire pit. In the morning, we arranged for Liz to bring us fresh baked scones and muffins, coffee, and juice. It was delicious and presented so nicely. All these little details made this event special and fun. We wish we could have stayed longer. The owners are incredibly nice, and I appreciate everything Liz did to make our stay so enjoyable. The inn is a hidden gem, so warm and welcoming and very close to the beach. I can't recommend it enough. We would love to return again for another stay!

PERFECTION. Beautiful house, delicious breakfasts, feels remote and secluded but is about a 90-second walk from the beach and only a couple minutes walk from 101. I spent almost a week here on my own, and I could not have been happier from start to finish. And I was left alone in all the best ways, which is what I needed most -- but at the same time, Liz was utterly delightful and always made sure that I had whatever I might want. It would be a great place for a romantic getaway -- but it was also completely perfect for a solo getaway, which is really rare in a B&B and is what I'd been hoping for. I'm already looking forward to going back.

If you have been lucky enough to stumble upon the "Salmonberry Inn" in the Yelp Reviews, you must have done a good deed recently for which you are about to be handsomely rewarded (...if you can get a reservation, --the value for the cost per room is astonishing-- so I am a wee bit reluctant to share this gem: when the secret gets out there wont be any ROOM at the Inn). But until then, go ahead, book a couple of nights and prepare to be thoroughly and happily pampered. Where to start? The Inn itself, which sits across from a gorgeous beach, is deceptively larger than it appears from the street, concealing colorful gardens surrounding a patio hidden behind the welcoming front fountain and koi ponds. The rooms: each individually appointed and private, with brand-new, top-grade mattresses under fluffy comforters, darkening curtains and soft towels for after your hot, great water-pressure showers. The Innkeepers: such an accommodating, generous couple, seamlessly making sure that every one of your needs is met --from wine with glasses or coffee set out upon arrival, to an always-steaming outdoor hot tub, to fresh flowers, to the most decadent breakfast you have ever been offered. The breakfast menu needs its own paragraph - we learned that the couple used to run a local coffee spot, and their entire barista set-up followed them to the inn. Cappuccino, espresso, custom made to order.... On top of handpicked blueberry pancakes (a pile high enough to count for breakfast and lunch!) bread pudding made with homemade challah bread they bake daily. Hearty thick bacon and eggs, oven baked home fries, there is simply no skimping on this spread. The Inn is set well within walking distance to a town that is adorable. One hopes for sunshine and good weather to enjoy the beach, but if not there is a huge outlet center, antique shops, and restaurants galore. The Innkeepers are local-locals, the real deal, who are happy to point you towards any good spot to eat, hike, swim, fish or discover. We left wondering how they can accomplish it all, make the guests feel so well taken care of, and appear easy. The whole experience reminded me how tempting it is to romanticize inn-keeping when you are treated so well as a guest, but in the end its all about hard work and attention to detail--a notion that The Salmonberry Inn understands in spades.

Adorable, charming and inviting. The owners are the nicest people, and Liz is an amazing cook. The breakfast menu (which is complimentary by the way), is fabulous. I especially recommend the Croque Madame for the perfect way to start your day.
